Hole Description
Hole 1
Par 4, HCP 17, 338 Yards
The first hole in this wonderful course welcomes you with a birdie chance, short par four with the wind on your back. With a driver on the fairway you will have wedge shot in to the green. The landing area reduces as you are getting close to the green and it is protected with two bunkers on the left side and one on the right. This side along the hole plays as out of bounce. The Green is slightly elevated and protected with a bunker on left front side with a bail out area on the right side.
Hole 2
Par 3, HCP 15, 182 Yards
First of the par three, with the predominant cross wind from right to left. The club selection is very important as the very deep green can have a difference up to three clubs. The two-level green with a lot of undulation is elevated with a bunker on the front right and a tall tree that will deviate any shot going on that direction. On the left of the green there is a big landing area.
Hole 3
Par 4, HCP 1, 452 Yards
The most difficult par four on the front nine, this is a long hole with a cross wind from left to right and a wide fairway with a lot of undulation. Your tee shot needs to be well located either on the center or on the right so you can have a clear shot in to the not very wide but deep green. The left side of the fairway is guarded by a huge tree that will block any attempt to reach the green in two shots. The medium size green is protected by a bunker on the front left and a landing area behind it, and the right side has a waste area and a bunker.
Hole 4
Par 5, HCP 5, 535 Yards
This dog leg to the left par five requires all your senses, with a predominant cross left to right in your face wind. This hole offers you the risk and reward option; the left side of the dog leg is protected with a tall three almost impossible to go over it, and the right side has a bunker that will protect your ball from going into the jungle. Your second shot from the fairway will give you the option to ¨go for it¨, you will require a high and long shot to fly all the bunkers and grass dunes that guard this wide green. If you decide to play safe, a mid iron will do the job leaving a short shot in tothe protected green with a bunker on the left side and back center.
Hole 5
Par 4, HCP 13, 364 Yards
Par four, shallow dog leg to the left with predominant wind in your face. The fairway is well protected on both sides; on the right you have a lake that runs along all the way to the green, on the left side two bunkers, grass dunes and a little more left, the jungle. Once in the fairway your second shot is blind on the right side, the green is covered by a huge grass dune with five bunkers on his base. On the left side you can see the green that is wide and small on his deep. The green has two levels, make sure to be on the right one.
Hole 6
Par 5, HCP 7, 504 Yards
The sensation on this par five is different to the previous holes, the jungle holes are left behind and you can feel the amplitude. This wide fairway with a lake on the left side runs along for about 300 yards. On the right side you have a bunker that will stop you ball from going to the mangrove, the two palm trees in the fairway will give a good aiming point. Your second shot will require a short iron to leave a comfortable position to attack the green. Trying to reach the green in two shots is complicated, you have three trees on the left side in front of the green that will make it tough to reach. The green is surrounded with a collar bunker, one small bunker in the front and a middle size bunker on the right, and there is two levels on this green.
Hole 7
Par 4, HCP 3, 417 Yards
Par four with a slight dog leg to the right, the wind is usually in your face. On the left side of the fairway you will find tree bunkers that will prevent your ball to go in to the water. On the right side is all about water, a lake runs along the hole all the way to the green. Try to hit an extra club in to the green, the wind will stop your ball in two one of the bunkers in front of the green. On both sides of the green you have bail out areas, not too much undulation on this putting surface.
Hole 8
Par 4, HCP 11 380 Yards
This short part four with a predominant wind in your face looks easy but don't get confident, the tee shot requires to go over water. On the left side, a well positioned bunker can make your second shot hard and the right side is water all the way. The second shot will require a short iron shot into this wide but not deep green that is guarded with 2 bunkers on the front, one on the back and bail out areas on the right and left.
Hole 9
Par 3, HCP 9, 160 Yards
This beautiful par three requires good strategy, with a predominant cross wind from left to right. The clover shape island green is elevated and surrounded with a bunker. This green has a lot of motion and the club selection is very important to make sure you are on the correct section.
Hole 10
Par 4, HCP 12, 410 Yards
Par four with a predominant wind from left to right and a slight dog leg to the left, where a smart tee shot is required. All the left side of the fairway is guarded with a lake all along the hole and into the front of the green. The right side with a bunker and various palm trees will make difficult to hit a second shot. The shot into the green requires an extra club, the wind will hold you ball in the air. The green with 2 levels has a bunker in the front and bail out areas on the right and back.
Hole 11
Par 4, HCP 18, 362 Yards
Par four with a predominant wind on your back, and an extensive landing area. The left side of the hole play as out of bounce, the more you go to the right, the longer your second shot will be. Medium iron will be required for your second shot into a well-protected green, with a bunker and a grass dune in the front right, a bunker on the left and a bail out area and a bunker in the back.
Hole 12
Par 3, HCP 4, 151 Yards
Stunning hole, with the wind on you face this par three down the hill over the water will require all your senses. Make sure to have enough club on your hands, a short shot means water or the bunker on the front right of the green. This side has more depth than the left side, this green does not have a lot of undulation.
Hole 13
Par 5, HCP 16, 551 Yards
First par five of the back nine, with predominant wind on your back. The generous landing area is surrounded with trouble; the left side plays as out of bounce and on the right side a beautiful lake runs along the hole. Your second shot can be made with a long iron leaving yourself a short shot in to the elevated and undulated green. The second section of the fairway will trade the out of bounce for a pond, the green is surrounded with bunkers in all his sides.
Hole 14
Par 3, HCP 10, 176 Yards
The easiest par three of the golf course will require that you hit over water, with a predominant wind from left to right. This green is guarded with a bunker on the left side and a long bunker that goes around the green from the front to the right side, this is a par opportunity!
Hole 15
Par 4, HCP 8, 303 Yards
This short par four with wind on your back is a great birdie opportunity. Aggressiveness can pay up or add up, water runs along the right side in to the green, a transition area will try to spot you ball on going into the jungle on the left side. A long iron or a wood will place you in a great position, too long can get you in one of the bunkers that are located on the left side of the fairway. From the short grass a chip is what you need to get to the green that has a small bunker on right side and bail out areas on the left and back .
Hole 16
Par 5, HCP 6, 519 Yards
Last par five, dog leg to the left with predominant cross wind from right to left and in your face. Wide landing area that can be complicated to reach because of the wind. Along the left side and all the way to the green a lake will show up, along the right side you'll find bunkers. The second shot is the key to par this hole, a medium iron on the second shot will leave a short iron into the green that has bunkers on the right and left, the two levels will test your putting skills.
Hole 17
Par 4, HCP 2, 457 Yards
The toughest par four of the back nine, with a sustained wind in your face. The fairway is protected by bunkers on both sides, the water on the left won’t come in top lay until the second shot. It is important to avoid the bunkers if you want to have a chance to reach the narrow and deep green in two, the second long shot requires a precise hit. With water going in front on the green, you can try to go long and hopefully you won’t end on the bunkers behind the undulated green. There is a bail out area with a bunker short left of the green, this can be also an option.
Hole 18
Par 4, HCP 14, 360 Yards
Great finishing hole, tee shot over the water on this par four with the wind on your face. The right side of the landing area has a bunker that will hold your ball from going to the mangrove. The left side is risky, the water goes along the hole with a long bunker on the side. Your second shot with a short iron into a big size green with a bunkers in front and left with a bail out area and a bunker on the right. The green does not have a lot of movement.
